Drop-Point Fixed Blade - Basalt Black

Proper care will help maintain the performance, appearance, and longevity of your knife.

Blade Care: The blade is made from D2 tool steel and features a durable black matte PVD coating for added wear and corrosion resistance. While the coating provides extra protection, D2 steel requires routine maintenance to keep it in optimal condition.

• Clean the blade after each use
• Hand wash only
• Remove dirt, sap, moisture, and other debris with a soft cloth
• Dry the blade thoroughly before storage
• Apply a light coat of knife oil periodically, especially along the cutting edge where the coating naturally wears with use
• Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, saltwater, fertilizers, and other corrosive materials

Sheath Care: The included glass-filled nylon sheath is designed to securely retain and protect your knife. A drainage hole at the tip allows moisture and debris to escape during normal use.

• Periodically remove dirt, sand, and debris from the sheath
• Rinse with clean water when necessary and allow it to dry completely
• Ensure the drainage hole remains clear and unobstructed
